KVS were employed to undertake the design and build of the ventilation to the kitchen and potwash areas of this large multi-area kitchen. It was necessary to install a temporary kitchen ventilation system as well as undertake the main installation in a phased programme. The works included potwash extract, a main kitchen extract and supply air canopy, a combi oven canopy and a make-up air system.

KVS were also employed to undertake the wiring of the fans, autotransformer controllers and gas interlock system with fan power sensors.

The design and installation was undertaken in strict accordance with HVCA DW/172 and BS6173.
